On 30 April 2026, our PhD candidate Alexander (Sasha) Anisimov very successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Optimizing transcriptional regulation and cellular homeostasis to slow brain and organismal ageing” for the degree of PhD (Philosophiae Doctor) at the Akershus University Hospital, The University of Oslo, Norway.
Anisimov did a beautiful job in presenting his trial lecture and PhD thesis and answered the questions well from the Adjudication comittee and the audience. The oral defense was started from 13:15 and lasted until around 16:00. Big congratulations to Dr. Anisimov, his family, and all the Fang lab members.
